With England’s Toughest Mudder just a few weeks away it is time to revise my Toughest Mudder gear list based on my experiences from the last two years. I am publishing this here as a reference for newbies to the Toughest Mudder series. This list is different from my World’s Toughest Mudder gear list, which you can find here.

In 2019 there have been some changes to the Toughest Mudder series. It is now a 12 hour event instead of 8 hours like the last two years. But you will run at least half of the race in the dark. Also Tough Mudder Headquarters (TMHQ) will have a lot of water obstacles, so I recommend wetsuit gear, a wetsuit shortie or a full wetsuit.

Also the pit area will change in 2019. It will now be a 10ft x 10ft space where you can set up a tent just like at World’s Toughest Mudder

I am grouping my Toughest Mudder gear list by use. I will include stuff for various types of weather just to be prepared for everything. Of course gear preferences depend on everyone’s individual needs, so of course you can use other brands. I am not sponsored by any brands, so I am just listing the ones I like. If you think something is missing let me know.
